    Welcome to CDIS Academy. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the CDIS Academy website, campus, courses, training programs, digital content, and all related services (collectively, the “Services”).

    By accessing or using our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Services.


    1. Acceptance of Terms

    1.1 Agreement

    These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“Student,” “User,” or “You”) and CDIS Academy (“Academy,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”).

    By registering for a course, visiting our campus, making a payment, or using our website and Services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

    1.2 Eligibility

    To enrol in our courses or use our payment facilities, you must be at least 18 years of age or have reached the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction.

    If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian must review and accept these Terms on your behalf.


    2. Course Enrollment, Fees & Payment

    2.1 Course Availability & Modifications

    CDIS Academy reserves the right to modify, suspend, postpone, discontinue, or replace any course, syllabus, schedule, instructor, fee structure, or training module at any time without prior notice.

    In the event that a course is cancelled by the Academy, enrolled students may be offered:

    • Admission to an equivalent course; or
    • A pro-rata refund of any prepaid tuition fees, where applicable.

    2.2 Course Fees & Payment

    • All fees are payable in Indian Rupees (₹), unless otherwise stated.
    • Students must pay fees according to the agreed payment schedule (full payment, instalments, or approved EMI plans).
    • Delayed or missed payments may result in suspension or termination of:
      • Classroom access
      • Online learning portal
      • Course materials
      • Practical sessions
      • Certifications
      • Placement assistance

    2.3 Refund & Cancellation Policy

    General Policy

    All payments made to CDIS Academy, including registration fees, tuition fees, installment payments, examination fees, and other charges, are non-refundable once:

    • Enrollment has been confirmed;
    • Course materials or LMS access has been provided; or
    • The course has commenced.

    Exceptional Cases

    Refund requests may only be considered under exceptional circumstances and solely at the discretion of CDIS Academy management. Approved refunds may be subject to administrative deductions.

    No Chargebacks

    Students agree to first contact CDIS Academy to resolve any payment disputes before initiating any chargeback or payment reversal through their bank or payment provider.

    2.4 Payment Delay & Fine Rules

    • Monthly payment date: 1st to 15th of the same month. If you miss this date, then every week 50 rupees fine will be added.
    • Instalment payment date: Already mentioned at admission time. If you miss it, then up to 1000 rupees fine will be added per week.
    • If you or your child is absent for 30 days or more with out pre written email application, then his/her fine will be added & registration will be suspended.
    • Every course requires 70% attendance.
    • Every class must scan the QR card. If you losed/damage your card, then 250 rupees fine must be paid. And your digital information will be changed as per the new QR Card.
    • All exam dates will be rescheduled, except the written (theory) exam. If you are absent on the exam date, then a fine will be added for the re-exam, which will be held 2 months later.

    3. Student Conduct & Academic Integrity

    3.1 Code of Conduct

    Students are expected to maintain professional, respectful, and ethical behaviour both on campus and during online classes.

    The following activities are strictly prohibited:

    • Harassment or abusive behavior
    • Disruptive conduct
    • Use of offensive or vulgar language
    • Damage to Academy property
    • Unauthorised photography, video recording, or audio recording of lectures
    • Any conduct that negatively affects other students or faculty

    Violation of these rules may result in disciplinary action, suspension, or permanent removal from the Academy.


    3.2 Academic Integrity

    Students must maintain honesty throughout their learning journey.

    The following are strictly prohibited:

    Plagiarism

    Submitting someone else’s work, ideas, code, assignments, or projects as your own.

    Cheating

    Using unauthorised materials or assistance during examinations, practical tests, or assessments.

    Impersonation

    Completing assignments, examinations, or projects on behalf of another student or allowing someone else to do so.

    Any academic misconduct may result in:

    • Failure in the assessment
    • Suspension
    • Expulsion
    • Cancellation of certification

    3.3 Account Security

    Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.

    Sharing login credentials with another individual is strictly prohibited.

    If account sharing is detected, CDIS Academy reserves the right to:

    • Suspend the account
    • Cancel enrollment
    • Remove access to course materials

    No refund will be provided in such cases.


    4. Intellectual Property Rights

    4.1 Ownership

    All course materials, including but not limited to:

    • Video lectures
    • Presentation slides
    • Study materials
    • Notes
    • Assignments
    • Projects
    • Source code
    • Website content
    • Logos
    • Trademarks
    • Course curriculum
    • Learning methodologies

    remain the exclusive intellectual property of CDIS Academy or its authorised licensors.


    4.2 Limited License

    Students are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access course materials solely for their personal educational use during the enrollment period.


    4.3 Restrictions

    Students shall not:

    • Copy
    • Record
    • Download (where restricted)
    • Reproduce
    • Modify
    • Publish
    • Sell
    • Redistribute
    • Upload online
    • Share with third parties

    any Academy materials without prior written permission.

    Unauthorised sharing or piracy of Academy content may result in:

    • Immediate termination of enrollment
    • Permanent removal from the Academy
    • Legal action under applicable copyright laws

    5. Placement Assistance Disclaimer

    5.1 Placement Support

    CDIS Academy provides placement assistance through:

    • Resume building
    • Portfolio development
    • Interview preparation
    • Mock interviews
    • Career counseling
    • Employer referrals
    • Access to hiring opportunities

    However, placement assistance does not guarantee employment, job offers, salary packages, or career advancement.

    Employment outcomes depend on various factors including:

    • Student performance
    • Skills
    • Attendance
    • Communication
    • Industry demand
    • Interview performance

    5.2 Student Responsibilities

    To remain eligible for placement assistance, students are expected to:

    • Maintain satisfactory attendance
    • Complete all assignments and projects
    • Successfully finish the course
    • Participate in placement activities
    • Follow Academy placement guidelines

    Failure to meet these requirements may affect placement eligibility.


    6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

    6.1 No Warranty

    CDIS Academy provides its Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

    The Academy does not guarantee:

    • Continuous availability of services
    • Error-free website operation
    • Accuracy or completeness of all content
    • Uninterrupted access to online resources

    6.2 Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by law, CDIS Academy, its management, faculty, employees, representatives, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

    • Indirect damages
    • Incidental damages
    • Consequential damages
    • Loss of profits
    • Loss of data
    • Business interruption
    • Loss of goodwill

    arising from:

    • Use or inability to use the Services
    • Unauthorised access to systems
    • Service interruptions
    • Technical failures
    • Third-party service disruptions

    7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

    7.1 Governing Law

    These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India.


    7.2 Jurisdiction

    Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Hooghly, West Bengal, India, unless otherwise required by applicable law.


    8. Miscellaneous

    8.1 Entire Agreement

    These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies published by CDIS Academy, constitute the complete agreement between you and the Academy regarding the use of our Services.
